Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking an activity with Northfolk, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be confirmed through payment unless otherwise agreed.

After booking, customers will receive a confirmation email with activity details and additional instructions if needed.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their booking free of charge up to 7 days before the activity start time and receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the activity are generally non-refundable.

However, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly and we always aim to be flexible whenever possible. In many cases, we may offer the possibility to reschedule the activity to another available date, even on shorter notice.

Please contact us as early as possible regarding any changes or cancellations.

Weather & Safety Conditions

The safety of our guests always comes first.

Activities may be modified, postponed or cancelled due to:

  • weather conditions

  • ice conditions

  • safety concerns

  • equipment issues

  • other unforeseen circumstances

If Northfolk cancels an activity, customers will always receive:

  • a full refund
    or

  • the option to reschedule to another available date.

Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

  • following guide instructions

  • behaving safely and respectfully

  • informing us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies or physical limitations before the activity

Northfolk reserves the right to remove participants from an activity if unsafe or disruptive behavior occurs.

Snowmobile & Driving Requirements

Some activities may require a valid driving licence.

Participants driving snowmobiles must:

  • hold a valid driver’s licence accepted in Finland

  • present the licence before the activity if requested

Drivers are responsible for following all guide instructions and local laws during the activity

Liability & Insurance

Northfolk maintains liability insurance for standard accidents and activity-related incidents.

However, participants join activities at their own responsibility and are expected to act carefully and follow all safety instructions provided by guides.

Northfolk is not responsible for:

  • personal belongings

  • damages caused by participant negligence

  • failure to follow instructions or safety guidelines

We strongly recommend appropriate travel and health insurance for all participants.

Photography & Marketing

Photos and videos may occasionally be taken during activities for marketing and social media purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please inform your guide before the activity begins.
